The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources has spent nearly $2 million on fish habitat restoration and angler access projects since 2004.
Nearly $850,000 of this money was used to restore 236 acres of riparian habitat and over 2,000 acres of reservoir habitat at Blue Ribbon or potential Blue Ribbon waters.
The Blue Ribbon program has used close to $1.1 million to secure angler access to over 7 miles of stream corridor and nearly 6,000 acres of reservoir fishing.
Blue Ribbon program funds have also been used to train 17 Division biologists in stream restoration techniques.
