Tune in Friday or Saturday for live video from the Snow Goose Festival.
As many at 10,000 snow geese congregate each year at Gunnison Bend Reservoir near Delta. The annual Delta Snow Goose Festival attracts hundreds of people each year to see these pure white geese with black wing tips.
This year the DWR will set up a camera at the festival and feed live video of the birds over the Internet. This is something of an experiment for us, so we're hoping for the best. If you can't make it to the festival, but have a few minutes on Friday or Saturday (Feb. 19–20), join us here for a glimpse of the birds from 9:30 a.m. until sometime in the early afternoon when the birds leave.
