Hide

The DWR must pre-approve all service projects other than those listed on the Dedicated Hunter Web site. Project hours completed prior to approval will not be credited.

Participants must complete service hours before the DWR will issue a permit.*

The Dedicated Hunter is responsible for performing their service hours. Someone else can not do the service hours for you.

Service hours are non transferable from one volunteer to another.

Service hours begin at the job site unless prior arrangements for travel time have been made with the project coordinator.

Participants must furnish their own food and water unless otherwise noted.

No alcoholic beverages will be permitted.

The division may suspend a Dedicated Hunter Certificate of Registration pursuant to Section 23-19-9 and R657-26.

(2) A certificate of registration may be suspended if the participant fraudulently:
    (a) submits a time sheet for service hours; or
    (b) signs the roll at the regional advisory council meetings

If you sign up for a project, we expect you to be there. If you can't make it, please call as soon as possible so that we can make the necessary adjustments.

Contact Jodie Anderson, Dedicated Hunter Project Specialist, for more information, (801) 791-8589, JodieAnderson@utah.gov.

Note: Project contacts are frequently in the field, away from their phones and computers. Please be patient — it may take them up to a week to respond to your calls or e-mails.
