Description of project: Fiberglass repair – re-coat saucer guzzler with resin, repair splits. Dig around back-side of saucer, stack rocks to stop overflow. Two and a half mile easy, flat hike along the Mineral drainage but very steep but short climb to guzzler through some of our best bighorn county. Tools, materials, lunch & water needs packed in.

Project location:

Mineral forks Guzzler – Near the Green River just north of Island in the sky NP. Access from Hwy 313, down Mineral Point Road past the boat ramp.

Project date: OPEN Spring through Fall and Winter if weather permits

Volunteers will need sturdy clothing, gloves, hat, boots. plenty of water and lunch.

Volunteers will need to fill out and sign a volunteer time sheet before any work can be done. Contacts will have time sheets.

Equipment: None, though power tools and basic tools are always helpful.

Hours available: 8

Volunteers: 2-4

Special: Physically able to do some hiking, digging and moderate lifting
