Location:: Eight miles east of Ogden, Utah, Highway 39.
Game fish: Yellow perch, bluegill, black crappie, largemouth and smallmouth bass, black bullhead, and tiger muskie.
Size: 2,874 surface acres at full pool
Elevation: 4,900 ft.
Conservation pool: None
Maximum water temperature: Upper 70s F
Productivity: 13,000 to 19,000 tiger muskie are stocked annually. Black bass, crappie, and perch are naturally produced in the reservoir in good numbers.
Type of fishing available: Trolling, shore, kick boats, float tubes, and ice.
Angler pressure: 141,000 angler hours per year.
Accommodations: No camping on shore, Bed and Breakfast in Huntsville, motels in Ogden.
Food: Restaurants in Huntsville and Ogden.
Boat ramps: Port Ramp on west side of reservoir, Bluff Ramp on Cemetery Point in Huntsville.
Boat rentals: Yes
Fish food: Due to the varied trophic levels exploited by the fish species, everything from zooplankton to fish.
Land ownership: U.S. Forest Service
Access: Good access. Three boat ramps and several shore access sites.
Unique attraction: Trophy tiger muskie and abundant panfish.
