Welcome to the Association for Conservation Information's 2005 conference Web site. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is honored to host this years conference and is excited to show off our great state. The 2005 conference in Ogden, Utah, starts on July 10th and wraps up the evening of the 14th.
ACI membership consists of the information, education, and public affairs staffs of state, federal and Canadian wildlife conservation, parks and natural resources agencies. Many private organizations, corporations and individuals with similar functions also belong. ACI member professionals play a major role in providing natural resources, environmental, wildlife and other information and education to the public through a variety of means, many of which are continental in scope. ACI members support efforts designed to increase the proficiency of the public relations profession serving outdoor recreational and natural resources management by encouraging continuous development of the individual.
Check out the agenda and don't forget to cash in on early registration savings. Not an ACI member? Not to worry, you don't have to be a member of ACI to attend the conference. In fact, we'd be glad to have you there.

Welcome from Gov. Jon M. Huntsman
In Utah, our natural resources are a major source of pride, enjoyment, and importance to our citizens. They enhance our quality of life, provide opportunities for local economies, and are a priority for me as Utah's Governor. I welcome the Association for Conservation Information to our great state and applaud the role you play in providing natural resource, environmental, and wildlife information and education to the public. During your stay I encourage you to find time to enjoy all that Northern Utah has to offer. Our scenic vistas and crisp mountain air are second to none.
