Becky Wajda
Becky Wajda has worked with the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries for 18 years and is the Assistant Director of the Department's Wildlife Diversity Division. From 1988 to 1999, she was the manager of the wildlife information and GIS programs of the Department. Currently, Becky is managing the development of the agency's Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy, coordinating activities and interactions between biologists and other technical specialists, partners, and stakeholders to develop a common vision for wildlife conservation in Virginia. Becky earned a Master of Science degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences from Virginia Tech in 1993 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary in 1985.
