Christy Merrick

Christy Merrick is the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources' Outreach Coordinator. She manages the Division's magazine, video program, website, print publications, media relations, and other communications. In her career in environmental education and communications, Christy has worked with groups including Sundance, World Wildlife Fund, National Geographic, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Mystic Aquarium, the Florida Game and Freshwater Fish Commission, and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Her experience includes work and research in the development and evaluation of exhibits and signage in museums, aquariums, and nature centers. Christy holds a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida and a master's degree in Environmental Management from Yale University.
