Selected organizations may receive financial assistance from the DWR.
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) has established the Angling Activities Grants Program to provide financial support and assistance to Utah organizations that are willing to offer hands-on learning opportunities for new anglers. Through this program, the DWR and its partners are encouraging recruitment and retention of anglers of all ages. Organizations may only apply for and be awarded one grant per annual cycle (July 1–June 30) for up to $1,000. Grant requests for funding amounts greater than $1,000 may be awarded only with the approval of the DWR Director. The DWR will award grants only as funds are available.
